Blue Imperiale
Visconti celebrates the brand’s Florentine origins with a tribute to the Medici family, one of the greatest dynasties in Italian history; the noble house stood out for their political, financial and cultural influence on the city Florence, but most of all for their passionate contribution to the development of Humanism and the Italian Renaissance. The Medici pen features an eight-facet design like the Florentine baptistery, a religious place and a symbol of the city’s glorious past, enhanced by the Lily emblem engraved on the center band. The shape of this writing instrument features balanced golden proportions, enhanced by acrylic resin mixed with bright silk fibers in a color that quietly and beautifully evokes the fine semi-precious stone mosaics that embellish the Medici villas.
This collection may be personalized using Visconti's "My Pen System" and the clip on each pen is unique to Visconti and reveals the origin of the brand, as it takes inspiration from the Ponte Vecchio Bridge in Florence, Italy. Available in fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint.
